Anthony J. Frisone | Co-Founder & CEO
CZAR was founded shortly after Tony returned from serving in Afghanistan in 2015. While deployed, he recognized problems with using fossil fuel for power and transportation and its impact on our environment and security. Presently, Tony strives to revolutionize the automotive and clean-tech industries while creating a smarter, safer, and more sustainable world.
Dr. Nelson Wang |Co-Founder & CTO
Dr. Nelson Wang is a proud MIT graduate and has ten years of R&D experience in E.V. and smart-grid technology within the United States Department of Energy and the Automotive Industry. Nelson co-founded CZAR-Power in 2015 and has been leading the team in product development and market expansion.
Samuel Robles | Industrial Design
Samuel Robles, a problem solving Industrial Designer, with 3 years working in product design, participating in Yanko Design 2021 and Herman Miller 2022 innovating everyday objects. Specializing in 3D Modeling and Photorealistic Rendering. Looking for design challenges, joined CZAR Power in 2021 and helped materialize the final concept of the product itself.
Dr. Allan Taylor | Lead Electrical
& Computer Engineer
For over ten years, Dr. Allan Taylor has been focusing on various projects, including DC/DC converters and motor drives. Allan received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at Michigan State University in 2019 and brings his expertise in power-electronics and alternative energy systems to the team.

Finance
An experienced business manager with global experience in the technology sectors. With degrees in chemical engineering, business management & energy policy, he brings in a unique combination of skills to the table and is able to create on-the-ground value for companies. Over a span of 12 years he has worked in different work environments including a large power company, research organizations, a boutique investment advisory firm, venture capital and more recently in successful clean-tech startups.
